Lassen Senior Services Center: 1700 Sunkist Drive, Susanville. 530-257-2113.
Meals on Wheels: Available to seniors and shut-ins. Lunch is delivered to residences on a daily basis. Call 530-257-2113 for further information.

Salvation Army: 1560 Main Street, Susanville. 530-257-0314. Services available:

  • Daily Food Table: There is a variety of food available on the table and in the refridgerator, on Monday through Friday from 9:00 m to noon. People may come in once per day and receive food. At times, there are also hygiene products and pet food available.

  • Twice Monthly Food Distribution: Food distribution is the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. A number can be picked up as early as 8:30 am. Distribution begins at 12:30 pm.

  • Emergency Food Boxes: People who are experiencing financial hardships may receive an emergency food box on an as-needed basis. These boxes provide approximately 4 days of food and include perishable and non-perishable items.

  • Free delivery of food boxes is available for seniors. Please call the Salvation Army for further information at 530-257-0314.

Crossroads Ministries: 2410 Main Street, Susanville. 530-251-0701.

  • Food Boxes: Available to all in need. Breakfast and lunch is available. Hours of operation vary. Call for up-to-date hours and food distribution.

  • Saturday evening dinners have resumed!
